1. Meeting point
The meeting point from Monday to Friday is generally at the stables of Dos Mares at 06.00 p.m., on week-ends according to the arrangements made with the stable. The excursions always start from the Hotel Dos Mares, which is outside of Tarifa, directly at the beach.
2. Exception
If the weather conditions are unfavourable for horseback riding the riding centre will leave a message at Escuela Hispalense which students can see after the course at 01.30 p.m.
3. General
All questions, special requests, suggestions and criticisms regarding horseback riding must be directed to Aventura Ecuestre and not to Escuela Hispalense.
4. Please bring with you:
- sun glasses, sun hat
- sun protection with a high factor
- drinks
- helmet (if available)
- horseriding pants (if available) if not comfortable casual pants
- horseriding boots (if available) if not solid shoes
5. An accident insurance is the reponsibility of each participant.
6. The transportation to the Hotel Dos Mares and back to Tarifa is not included in the price. We suggest renting a car to share with other students or we could organize a taxi transfer with other students to the Hotel Dos Mares and back to Tarifa (price for 4 people approx. EUR 3,-- per person). Sometimes employees from the stable can pick up students in Tarifa and / or bring them back to Tarifa after the excursion.
7. Meeting point:
The stables is located about 5 kms outside of Tarifa on the CTA 340 at Km. 80 going towards Cádiz. After the Rio Jara campsite at Km. 80.5, cross a small bridge and take the second turning on your left (approx. 1 km). There is a big parking space at the beach. Please note that in order to turn left you must first turn into the layby on the right until the road is clear. In Spain it is forbidden to turn directly to the left from the main road. In the parking space please go right till you are straight in front of the riding centre (approx. after 200 meters on the right-hand side).
8. Payment & cancellation
The prices for all inclusive packages are only valid if bookings are made prior to arrival. Students who have not booked before and would like to join any of the activity packages can obtain the current prices through Escuela Hispalense.
All pre-booked packages must be paid for in full before the courses start. If payment is not made in advance, the student cannot profit from the special package price.
Students who voluntarily do not assist or drop a booked activity programme cannot claim the money back. If a student waives the booked activity programme, the lost hours can not be recovered another day. If the instructors of any of the activities consider the conditions suitable for the activities, all enrolled students should participate.
Cancellation of the package upon arrival will carry a 30 % cancellation fee of the full price. Fees for Spanish classes and accommodation will be charged in this case according to the official price list (without the discount for package).
