1. Meeting point
Our partner for the diving activities is only a few walking minutes away from Escuela Hispalense. The diving instructor informs Escuela Hispalense the first day about the hours and the meeting point. Additional details will be arranged directly with the diving center.
2. Exception
If the wind and weather conditions are unfavourable for diving, the diving instructor will leave a message at Escuela Hispalense which students can see after the course at 1.30 p.m.
3. General
All questions, special requests, suggestions and criticisms regarding diving, must be directed to the diving center and not to Escuela Hispalense.
4. The following material and services are included
For the diving excursions:
- Diving tours
- Bottles
- Weights
Complete gear can be rented for an additional fee of EUR. 120,-- for two weeks.
For the diving course „Open Water Diver“:
- Diving cours
- Material for theoretical part incl. Video
- Bottles
- Diving suit
- Weights
5. Please bring with you (for the excursions), if available:
- Diving suit
- Diving glasses
- Fins
6. Medical attest
For the diving course a medical attest is mandatory. This can be arranged in the home country and must confirm that the person in question is healthy and can exercise the diving sport without endangering himself. Preferably, the certificate should be written in English or Spanish. We can help you with the formulation of the text. The medical attest can also be obtained in Tarifa for a fee of EUR. 33,--.
7. Accident insurance
For each diver it is necessary to have an accident insurance that covers the diving sport. This can be obtained in the home country but must include countries abroad. In Tarifa such an insurance coverage costs approx. 14,- EUR for 4 weeks.
8. Responsability
Please note that the diving sport is not compatible with an intensive night life. Each diver must be responsible for his own safety and fitness if a diving activity is planned.
8. Payment & cancellation
The prices for all inclusive packages are only valid if bookings are made prior to arrival. Students who have not booked before and would like to join any of the activity packages can obtain the current prices through Escuela Hispalense.
All pre-booked packages must be paid for in full before the courses start. If payment is not made in advance, the student cannot profit from the special package price.
Students who voluntarily do not assist or drop a booked activity programme cannot claim the money back. If a student waives the booked activity programme, the lost hours can not be recovered another day. If the instructors of any of the activities consider the conditions suitable for the activities, all enrolled students should participate.
Cancellation of the package upon arrival will carry a 30 % cancellation fee of the full price. Fees for Spanish classes and accommodation will be charged in this case according to the official price list (without the discount for the package).
