1. Meeting point
Unless otherwise agreed, students meet at 03.00 p.m. between Monday and Friday at the parking space in Playa Los Lances.
2. Exception
If the wind and weather conditions are unfavourable for kitsurfing, the teachers will leave a message at Escuela Hispalense which students can see after the course at 01.30 p.m., or they can call the kitesurfing teachers directly.
3. General
All questions, special requests, suggestions and criticisms regarding kitesurfing, must be directed to the kitesurfing school and not to Escuela Hispalense.
4. Please bring with you:
- sun glasses, sunhat
- high factor sun protection
- drinks and a snack (it is not possible to buy anything at the beach)
- harniss (if available)
- wetsuit (if available)
When the first part of the beach lessons have finished, those students who have their own wetsuits should bring them, also surf shoes (depending on which beach the kitesurfing course takes place).
5. An accident insurance is the reponsibility of each participant.
6. The transportation to the kitesurfing beach and back to Tarifa is not included in the price. We suggest renting a car to share with other students or we could organize a taxi transfer with other students to the beach and back to Tarifa (price for 4 people approx. EUR 3,-- per person).
Meeting point for kitesurfers: Usually Playa Los Lances, about 5 kms outside Tarifa on the N340 going towards Cádiz. There is a big parking space at the beach and a small charge during the summer months. (below you will find a map with directions). After the Río Jara campsite at Km. 80.5, cross a small bridge and take the first turning on your left. Please note that in order to turn left you must turn into the layby on the right until the road is clear. In Spain it is forbidden to turn directly to the left from the main road. Playa Los Lances is a designated kitesurfing zone. The left-hand side is reserved for the kitesurfing schools where you will find the meeting point. If you come from Tarifa the first beach entrance is approx. 700 meters before Hotel Dos Mares.
Other beach spots may be used according to wind conditions and with the aim of always obtaining the optimal conditions for kitesurf teaching. This is done with the agreement of students.
7. Payment & cancellation
The prices for all inclusive packages are only valid if bookings are made prior to arrival. Students who have not booked before and would like to join any of the activity packages can obtain the current prices through Escuela Hispalense.
All pre-booked packages must be paid for in full before the courses start. If payment is not made in advance, the student cannot profit from the special package price.
Students who voluntarily do not assist or drop a booked activity programme cannot claim the money back. If a student waives the booked activity programme, the lost hours can not be recovered another day. If the instructors of any of the activities consider the conditions suitable for the activities, all enrolled students should participate.
Cancellation of the package upon arrival will carry a 30 % cancellation fee of the full price. Fees for Spanish classes and accommodation will be charged in this case according to the official price list (without the discount for package).
